Role: Escrow Officer

As an Escrow Officer, you will oversee title clearing and closing preparations for real estate transactions, including document review, escrow accounting, and managing signings. Your focus will be on providing outstanding communication and service to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Oversee title and closing for residential projects in your market.
  2. Manage closing platform tasks and conduct weekly pipeline reviews.
  3. Proactively resolve issues and coordinate with Underwriting.
  4. Verify title clearance before closing.
  5. Review entity documents, prepare transfer deeds, and settlement statements.
  6. Balance figures, prepare disbursement packages, and ensure document accuracy.
  7. Attend and coordinate closings, including mobile and RON signings.
  8. Update files and communicate closing status proactively.
  9. Assist other Escrow Officers as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of residential closing experience.
  • Resident and licensed title agent in New Mexico.
  • Experience with multi-state title operations.
  • Willing to obtain a Notary License if not already licensed.
  • Experience managing closings for various clients.
  • Knowledge of TRID, CFPB, RESPA regulations.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to handle problems professionally and work independently.
