Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Tag & Title Associate to prepare DMV transfer documents, verify payoffs on trade-ins, and manage vehicle inventory records. The role requires accuracy in filing, data entry for used vehicles, and handling wholesale transactions.

You will contribute to month-end accounting and ensure compliance with transfer procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a dealership position is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tag and title documents for DMV transfers.
• Submit legal transfer documents to the DMV.
• Issue stock numbers and track stock in used vehicles.
• Input inventory control data for used cars.
• Maintain trade-in jackets and update name/address files.
• Process wholesale deals and monitor wholesale receivables.
• Verify payoffs on trade-ins and assist with end-of-month reports.
