Job summary

Bergey's Wilkes Barre location is hiring for a full-time Title Clerk to manage all aspects of title work for dealership vehicle sales and ensure PennDOT compliance. This role handles PA and out-of-state title processing, prepares tax and title documents, and supports audits and licensing requirements.

The candidate will work closely with the Controller, monitor title issues, and participate in periodic F&I training on title regulations. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Process title work on all new and used vehicles for PA and out-of-state deals.
• Prepare tax and title documents for the state where the vehicle will be titled.
• Monitor, track, and report delays to the Controller.
• Maintain PennDOT record retention and filing system per PA Audit requirements.
• Maintain licenses, training certs, logs, and affidavits as required.
• Assist Controller with state audits and PennDOT requirements.
• Conduct periodic training sessions for F&I managers and sales personnel on title regulations.

Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of title work for dealership vehicle sales and complying with PennDOT regulations.

• Process title work on all new and used vehicles for both PA and out-of-state deals
• Process Pennsylvania Title Work via Online portal within timeframe required by PennDOT
• Prepare tax and title documents required for state in which vehicle will be titled
• Monitor, track, & report any issues or delays promptly with the Controller
• Maintains PennDOT record retention & filing system as outlined by PAA Audit Requirements
• Monitor & maintain all required licenses, training certs, logs, contract affidavits, etc.
• Assist Controller with state audits and stay up-to-date on PennDOT requirements
• Conduct periodic training sessions for F&I managers and sales personnel regarding title regulations and procedures
