Job summary

ACV Auctions is hiring for a Vehicle Title Processor to ensure accurate processing of titles under DMV guidelines, delivering high customer satisfaction. This role handles daily inflow of titles from dealers and financial institutions, responds to inquiries, and troubleshoots title-related issues with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in titles or automotive contexts, with proficiency in MS Office or GSuite and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles using state DMV guidelines accurately.
• Receive and process incoming titles from dealerships, banks, and credit unions.
• Answer customer inquiries via in-person, email, fax or phone professionally.
• Troubleshoot title-related issues, such as odometer discrepancies or power of attorney.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Ensure all inquiries are answered by day end and support other departments as needed.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for processing vehicle titles using state DMV guidelines in a timely and accurate manner to assure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for processing vehicle titles using state DMV guidelines in a timely and accurate manner to assure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Accurately process incoming titles daily from dealerships, banks and credit unions.
• Answer customer inquiries or concerns in person, email, fax or telephone in a professional manner.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to tiles; odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
• Maintains a professional, calm manner when negotiating with difficult or upset customers.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
• Assures all phone calls and inquiries have been answered by the close of the day.
• Assist other departments as needed or assigned.

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years' experience in titles, automotive industry, or related.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience with Microsoft Office or GSuite
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
