Job summary

World Business Lenders is seeking a detail‑oriented Title Examiner to review title commitments, deeds, mortgages, and related documents for accurate lien positioning. The role emphasizes rigorous analysis and timely processing in a fully remote, full‑time setting.

The candidate should have at least five years of experience in title clearance or closing operations and a solid understanding of U.S. real estate and title insurance concepts. Bachelor’s degree in business or finance is required.

Typically, the work schedule is from 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, though there might be times when additional hours are needed to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise in reviewing title commitments, thoroughly understanding the requirements and exceptions to ensure proper lien positioning.
• Proficient in analyzing legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, lien releases, corporate documents, and authorizations with keen attention to detail.
• Adept at interpreting legal descriptions, surveys, and title exceptions to guarantee accuracy and compliance.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Business Administration or Finance. A solid understanding of U.S. real estate and title insurance/review is essential.

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in title clearance, title examination, and closing operations.
• Proven expertise in reviewing title commitments, interpreting requirements and exceptions, and guaranteeing a clear title for successful closings.
• Experience working within lending, title, or escrow settings—reviewing purchase, refinance, and commercial files is a valuable plus.

Preferred Background / Industry Experience

• Experience in title insurance, mortgage lending, or escrow roles, particularly involving mortgage refinance, purchase, and commercial title reviews.
• Comfort with lien verification and managing closing documents is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experienced with title platforms like CSC, NETRO, or similar systems.

• USD base salary.
