Job summary

Lonestar Land Services is seeking an experienced Title Agent to manage the full acquisition process of title research, ownership verification, and parcel analysis for projects across the USA. The role can be field-based and/or remote, with travel as required and collaboration with legal, survey, environmental, and project management teams.

You will conduct detailed title research, support valuation efforts, and participate in project meetings to ensure smooth closeout.

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of experience in right of way, title, land acquisition, or real estate.
  • Strong working knowledge of title research, land ownership, and property records across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience navigating county records, courthouse research, and GIS platforms.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of landowners and stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Comfortable with nationwide travel when required and working in both field and remote environments.
  • IRWA coursework or certification is a plus.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
