Job Title: Title Examiner / Title Abstractor (Remote, Multistate Experience)

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Based)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Title Professional with multistate experience to support a growing pipeline of real estate transactions. This is a fully remote position ideal for experienced title examiners, abstractors, and agents who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can handle multiple orders across various states in a single day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review land title records, deeds, mortgages, liens, and legal descriptions to determine ownership history and uncover any encumbrances.
• Examine, analyze, and evaluate public records to prepare clear and concise title reports.
• Manage a high volume of orders across multiple states simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and, when needed, legal counsel to resolve title defects or issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-specific title regulations and requirements.
• Support title production workflows in compliance with industry standards and client-specific needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Title Examiner, Title Abstractor, Title Searcher, or Title Agent.
• Proven experience working for national title companies, underwriters, or law firms handling multistate files.
• Strong understanding of real estate documents and title search processes across multiple U.S. states.
• Ability to shift focus between different transactions and jurisdictions throughout the day.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in title software systems and online public record searches.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with ALTA standards and best practices.
• Certification as a Title Insurance Professional is a plus but not required.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
