Role Summary: Manages and oversees 30-80 employees in a team-based automated assembly/stamping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops work instructions, trains employees on processes, and supervises daily operations
• Monitors and reports daily production activities with regard to SPC
• Identifies, develops, and implements strategies to attain production targets respecting SQDCM
• Leads daily production meetings to communicate goals and provide team feedback
• Evaluates employee performance and implements development strategies
• Provides employee/team development through training, coaching, counseling, and performance measurement
• Participates in Layered Process Audit schedule
• Participates in Internal ISO/TS 16949 Audit schedule (for certified internal auditors)
• Supports audits related to ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer standards
• Performs other related activities within scope of the position

Knowledge and Education:

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in technical or business discipline, or equivalent supervisor experience with at least 4 years’ exempt status
• Strong experience with SQCDM and SPC measurables

Work Experience:

• 5-15 years in team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and people skills
• Willing to work third shift
