Job summary

HTU is seeking a Title I paraprofessional to assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance through 1:1 or small-group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and instructional leader.

You will commit to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially, implement a result-driven curriculum to achieve growth from fall to spring testing, and attend professional development and articulation meetings with teachers and parents as required.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements for Title I paraprofessional.
• Experience in a school or with school-age children preferred.
• Ability to assist in teaching reading, writing and/or mathematics.
• Ability to navigate technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance for students needing intervention through 1:1 or group workshops.
• Commit to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially.
• Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve growth from fall to spring testing.
• Attend professional development and articulation meetings with teachers and parents as required.
