Job summary

USA Dream Stone in Garner, NC is seeking an experienced TITAN CNC Router Operator to join our fabrication team. You will machine and finish countertop pieces, set up components on the CNC table, and verify dimensions and profiles to ensure accuracy.

This role requires understanding stone fabrication, CNC tooling, edge profiling and sink cutouts. Work is performed indoors in a fabrication facility with exposure to loud environments and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Park TITAN CNC Router preferred.
• Stone fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of granite, quartz, quartzite, marble materials.
• Familiarity with sink cutouts and faucet holes.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Park TITAN CNC Router for countertop fabrication.
• Set up countertop pieces on the CNC table using vacuum pods and proper positioning.
• Review shop tickets, drawings and dimensions before starting each job.
• Verify material, piece, dimensions, edge profile, sink information and other specs.
• Load and run CNC programs accurately and polish countertops.
• Fabricate and finish sink cutouts, drill faucet holes, and perform profiling.
• Inspect edges, cutouts, profiles, holes and finished pieces for quality and accuracy.
• Keep machine productive while maintaining quality standards and safe operation.

Job Overview

USA Dream Stone is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented TITAN CNC Router Operator to join our fabrication team in Garner, NC.

This position is responsible for operating our Park Industries TITAN CNC Router to machine and finish countertop pieces accurately and efficiently. We are looking for someone who understands stone fabrication, CNC tooling, edge polishing, sink cutouts, and the importance of catching problems before a piece is damaged.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Park Industries TITAN CNC Router for countertop fabrication.
• Set up countertop pieces properly on the CNC table using vacuum pods and appropriate positioning.
• Review shop tickets, drawings, dimensions, and fabrication information before starting each job.
• Verify the correct material, piece, dimensions, edge profile, sink information, faucet holes, and other job specifications.
• Load and run CNC programs accurately.
• Machine and polish countertop edges and profiles.
• Fabricate and finish sink cutouts.
• Drill faucet, accessory, and other required holes.
• Perform CNC profiling, routing, and polishing operations.
• Select and verify the correct tools for each fabrication operation.
• Monitor tooling condition and identify worn or damaged tools before they affect finished quality.
• Make appropriate adjustments to tooling, offsets, speeds, or programs when necessary.
• Inspect polished edges, sink cutouts, profiles, holes, and finished pieces for accuracy and quality.
• Verify pieces against drawings and measurements before releasing them to the next production stage.
• Identify programming, setup, tooling, or material problems before they result in damaged material or rework.
• Keep the machine productive while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain vacuum pods, tooling areas, machine table, and work area in clean and organized condition.
• Report machine, tooling, or maintenance problems immediately.
• Communicate with programmers, production supervisors, saw operators, and other fabrication team members.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality-control standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Park Industries TITAN CNC Router is strongly preferred.
• Experience operating similar CNC stone routers will also be considered.
• Previous countertop or stone fabrication experience preferred.
• Knowledge of granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and other countertop materials.
• Experience with CNC edge profiling and polishing.
• Understanding of sink cutouts, faucet holes, inside corners, radius work, and countertop fabrication details.
• Familiarity with CNC tooling and tool sequences.
• Ability to properly position and secure pieces using vacuum pods.
• Ability to read shop drawings, measurements, and production paperwork.
• Comfortable working with CNC software and machine controls.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to recognize when something does not look correct and stop the machine before damaging the material.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently as part of a production team.
• Work is performed indoors in a non-temperature-controlled fabrication facility and outdoors in the stone yard.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
• Personal protective equipment is required.
