Job summary

CorneaGen LLC in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Tissue Processing Technologist I to join our team. This full-time, in-person role focuses on preparing corneal tissue for transplant, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting tissue delivery to surgeons.

The position offers a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (40 hours/week) with weekend and holiday coverage, and on-the-job training. A high school diploma is required; compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• You have received your high school diploma or equivalent; additional experience or education in a scientific or laboratory environment is preferred.
• Your previous work experience demonstrates that you are able to collaborate with others on a team, have a strong attention to detail, and can communicate effectively (written, verbal, etc.) within a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the tissue pre-cutting process and confirm quality standards are met.
• Assist with the delivery of tissue to surgeons to ensure timely availability.
• Help ensure that surgeons receive the correct tissue for corneal transplants.
