Job summary

LifeNet Health in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Packaging Technician to support the Distribution & Inventory team. You will label and pack finished goods, crosscheck accuracy, and document receipt of processed tissue, ensuring proper inventory control and release into storage.

The role requires basic schooling and at least one year in production, with SAP experience preferred. OT and on-call may be required as essential personnel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of production or assembly experience preferred.
• Two years SAP experience preferred.
• Two years manufacturing, production, tissue bank, organ procurement, medical device, or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate labeling and packaging of finished goods following SOPs and uses SAP and RF units.
• Performs crosscheck of labeling and packaging of finished goods in preparation for transfer to LifeNet Health inventory.
• Documents receipt of processed tissue from contract clients.
• Unpacks finished goods inventory from irradiation following SOP guidelines.
• Receives, inspects, and stocks packaging and labeling supplies.
• Records daily KPIs and identifies nonconforming materials or conditions as needed.
• Performs quarterly dose audit verification for all product types.
