Under general supervision, the Tissue Bank Supervisor provides coordination and technical support for the Tissue Services division at Lifesharing. This position will serve as supervisor of the tissue triage department. Responsibilities include hiring, performance evaluation, corrective or disciplinary actions, up to dismissal. Duties include oversight of screening and triaging potential donors to determine medical suitability and eligibility according to protocols established by Lifesharing. Reviews and completes donor medical records. Assists with Lifesharing professional and public education. Acts as Administrator-on-Call, providing supervision and guidance to on-call staff for determining donor suitability and timing of recoveries. Ensures call schedules are completed timely and provides adequate coverage. Also assists with data review and department training for new employees, as well as ongoing annual training.
Annual Full Pay Range: $69,500 - $123,500 (prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $33.29 - $59.15
Factors in determining appropriate compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other organizational needs. The referenced Hiring Pay Scale is the budgeted salary or hourly range the University expects to pay, but the actual salary may vary based on internal equity, budget, and bargaining agreements.
