Job summary

InnoSource is seeking Tire Testers for our Akron, OH operations. The role supports the Product Evaluation Department in testing a range of tires, collecting data, and ensuring reliable results. You will mount/dismount tires, operate test equipment safely, and help identify any issues that could affect test outcomes. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Identify test tires using mount/test sheets.
• Mount and dismount tires on test equipment.
• Measure and record data during testing.
• Detect machine malfunctions that affect results.

Job description

We are looking for individuals interested in a long career with a global leader in the automotive manufacturing industry! This Global Leader’s Tire Testing and Materials Technicians average service is currently 18 years, proving this is a great place to establish an exciting and rewarding career.

The Product Evaluation Department is responsible for the testing needs of all tires developed in its North American Innovation Center, including passenger, light truck, aircraft, radial medium truck, race, and off‑road construction tires.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Identifying test tires using mount request and test request sheets
• Mounting and dismounting tires on test equipment
• Measuring and collecting data while tires are being tested
• Detecting malfunctions of machines that may affect test results

Requirements

Skills and Knowledge – Tire Tester

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Availability to work the second shift (4p.m. to midnight) is required.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team; friendly and kind demeanor.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lb.
• Automotive, mechanical, or industrial experience (preferred).

Education and Experience – Tire Tester

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
