Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Sales & Service Associate to handle tire and wheel installation, servicing and maintenance in our Sioux Falls location. You will engage customers, promote store value, and perform road service as needed.

The role requires physical work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels.
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Attaching and rebalancing wheels
• Installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• Washing tires and wheels
• Testing and installing batteries
• Using and maintenance of equipment
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Providing excellent customer service, promoting store sales; using the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers

Experience
