Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Fargo, ND is seeking a Sales & Service team member to install and maintain tires and wheels, perform repairs and rotations, and assist customers with service needs.

You will operate equipment, test drive vehicles, and support offsite and emergency road services. On-the-job training is provided to develop skills across tire care, battery work, and TPMS calibration.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/relearn/calibrate TPMS.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install batteries.
• Use and maintain equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• attaching and rebalancing wheels
• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• washing tires and wheels
• testing and installing batteries
• using and maintenance of equipment
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Experience
