Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Sales & Service associate to handle the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels while delivering outstanding customer service. You will perform tire installation, balancing, TPMS calibration and vehicle testing in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting (35–75 pounds) and physical work.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/rebuild and calibrate TPMS.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install vehicle batteries.
• Operate and maintain service equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Job Description

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels


• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires


• attaching and rebalancing wheels


• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS


• washing tires and wheels


• testing and installing batteries


• using and maintenance of equipment


• assisting other employees


• test driving vehicles


• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience
