Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Sales & Service professional to handle tire and wheel installation, maintenance and related services. The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store setting, while following company policies and the Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities include tire/wheel installation, repairs, rotations, TPMS calibration, battery testing, and assisting with service operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/relearn/calibrate TPMS.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test drive vehicles and assist service calls.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels


• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires


• attaching and rebalancing wheels


• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS


• washing tires and wheels


• testing and installing batteries


• using and maintenance of equipment


• assisting other employees


• test driving vehicles


• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience
