Job summary

Savage Tire Technician in Roosevelt, UT is responsible for inspecting, repairing, mounting, and replacing tires across shop, yard, field, and roadside settings. You will help with preventive maintenance, inventory, and compliance with DOT standards, ensuring safety and quality in every task.

The role requires physical work, lifting up to 100 pounds, and teamwork with operations and maintenance staff on a Thursday–Sunday, 5 pm–2 am schedule in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tire maintenance practices and DOT requirements.
• Experience with maintenance recordkeeping and inventory support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Safely inspect, repair, mount, and replace tires per Savage Tire Manual.
• Perform tire and maintenance service in shop, yard, field, and roadside calls.
• Monitor tire condition and equipment needs for preventative maintenance.
• Assist with inventory management, maintenance records, asset tracking, and reporting.
