Ark Resource Group is assisting with the hiring of a Tire Technician / Light Mechanic for a full-time, direct-hire role in Plantation, Florida. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with tires, wheel alignments, brakes, oil changes, and general light automotive maintenance.
You will work in a professional shop, delivering safe, reliable vehicle service. Starting pay is $700 per week, with potential increases based on performance and demonstrated ability.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with tires and light mechanical services.
- Wheel-alignment experience required.
- Brake inspections and brake-service experience preferred.
- Oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to safely operate standard automotive tools and shop equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, and service automotive tires.
- Perform tire balancing and related procedures.
- Conduct wheel alignments with appropriate equipment.
- Inspect and service braking systems and replace components as needed.
- Perform oil changes and routine preventive maintenance.
- Assist with basic light automotive repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
