Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring for a Sales & Service role focused on tire installation, maintenance and sales. You will perform tire mounting, rotation, balancing, TPMS calibration, and related vehicle service while delivering friendly, fast customer service at our Salem location.

This position emphasizes safety, accurate work, and promoting store sales. Training is provided on the job, and opportunities for benefits and growth are available to eligible full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels.
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
• Attaching and rebalancing wheels.
• Installing TPMS and calibrating TPMS.
• Washing tires and wheels.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Operating equipment and maintaining it.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Promoting store sales.
• Using the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
