Job summary

McCarthy Tire Service in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Pad Tire Technician to perform truck tire service, repairs, and related duties in our shop. This is a shop-only, physically demanding role requiring lifting 30–250 lbs and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires.
• Tire mounting and dismounting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 30–250 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check.

Pay

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving lifting, standing, repetitive motion, awkward positions, and vibration.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check.

This is ashop-only positionand is physically demanding, involving lifting, standing, moving, and handling tires and equipment.
