Job summary

Petes Tire Barns Inc in Rutland Town, VT is seeking an Automotive Tire Technician to change passenger and light truck tires, perform repairs and general tire/wheel service. You will remove or install mounted tires, operate tire mounting/balancing equipment, and ensure all work is documented on tags and invoices with attention to safety and accuracy.

Candidates should be able to lift heavy objects and work with various tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Driver's License & clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change tires on passenger, light truck, loader, farm, ATV and/or lawn and garden as required.
• Perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels.
• Remove or replace mounted tire assemblies from vehicles; operate mounting/balancing equipment.
• Communicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders and/or invoices.
• Ensure all products leave with proper paperwork and maintain safety standards.
