Job summary

Burt Brothers in Layton, UT is hiring a Tire Technician to mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires, repair flats, and service TPMS. You’ll perform oil changes, inspect vehicles, test batteries, and help maintain a clean, safe shop.

The role rewards reliability and teamwork, with opportunities to advance into light mechanical services. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 70 lbs are required, with weekend availability common.

Qualifications

• Experience in tire service or automotive maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills allow.
