Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Morristown, VT is seeking a Service Technician to help keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. Training and support are provided to help you grow your career in a team-driven shop.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement, learn shop safety, and gain hands-on experience while assisting customers with recommendations and service needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
