Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is hiring a Service Technician in Michigan to perform tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. Training is available for the right person, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop, helping customers, improving tire health and road safety while learning hands-on skills and growing with the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
