Job summary

Southern Tire Mart, LLC is seeking a tire service technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial categories. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues, conducting fleet inspections, and safely operating service trucks to respond to calls.

Applicants should be able to lift 30–250 lbs., pass a drug screen, and have or obtain a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial tires.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles and perform fleet inspections.
• Operate company vehicles safely and respond to service calls using a service truck when needed.
• Load/unload inventory and assist with physical stock counts; maintain TPMS.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
