Job summary

Gunnell's Tire & Auto in Mesa, AZ seeks a Tire Technician to mount, balance, and service tires and related components. You will also perform oil changes, inspect systems, and support a fast, accurate service culture in a team-driven environment.

The role offers weekend shifts and opportunities to grow into light mechanical work, with a focus on safety and quality. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Tire service experience is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability; team-focused attitude.
• Detail-oriented and safety-minded; eager to grow in the role.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service.
• Progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills grow.
