Job summary

American Tire Depot in California is hiring Tire Technicians to mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires, repair flats, test TPMS sensors, perform oil changes and light mechanical service, and keep a safe, clean shop.

You'll work with a team to deliver fast, accurate service, lift 70 lbs, have flexible weekend availability, a valid driver’s license, and opportunities to advance into brakes, suspension, or alignments.

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
• Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and eager to grow.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Weekend availability, as guests rely on us most then.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services when skills allow.
