Job summary

American Tire Depot in Montebello, CA is looking for a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate tires, repair flats, and service TPMS sensors. You will also perform oil changes, inspect vehicles, and assist with batteries while maintaining safety and speed in a fast-paced shop environment.

You can grow into light mechanical tasks (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills develop, with weekend availability and a clear path for career progression within a solid team.

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow.
