Job summary

Burt Brothers is seeking a Tire Technician to join a fast-paced team dedicated to accuracy and customer satisfaction in Salt Lake City. The role covers tire mounting, balancing, rotations, flats, TPMS, oil changes, battery tests, and routine inspections.

We value a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to grow into light mechanical work as skills develop. A valid license and physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required. Weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments).
