Job description

Champtires is searching for a highly motivated person to join our West Mifflin location. Prior automotive or tire installation experience is preferred, but not necessary. Compensation will be based on experience.

The tire technician will:

• Install, mount, balance and repair tires.
• Operate necessary machinery safely, following all safety instructions and guidelines.
• Assist customers and co-workers.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
• Maintain, organize and clean the shop and equipment.

A successful candidate will have:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to perform duties in a safe manner and to consistently follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and be able to stand, bend and lift for continuous periods of time.
• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and be at least 18 years old.

Tire industry knowledge experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour DOE
