Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Tire Technician in Omaha, NE for a contract role, with first shift hours 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will balance, install, and repair tires on trucks, perform rotations, and handle mounting/dismounting with hands-on use of tools.

Requirements include 6+ months in general labor, 6+ months with hand tools, and 1+ year in an auto shop. Benefits are offered and occasional commission may apply after transitioning to full-time status.

Job Title: Tire TechnicianJob Description

Join our team as a Tire Technician, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including tire balancing, installation, and repairs. You will also conduct routine tire rotations, mount and dismount tires, and stack them as necessary. In this role, you will work on trucks and be involved in changing brakes, oil, and tires, particularly on trucks used for transporting livestock and other materials.

Essential Skills

• Service and general labor skills.

• Understanding of blueprints and preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of general labor experience.

Work Environment

Work in a large warehouse with hundreds of tire treads alongside a team of four, depending on your department. The work schedule is the first shift from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The environment involves hands-on work with trucks that may not be clean upon arrival.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
