Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in California is hiring a Tire Technician to join a results-driven team that delivers fast, accurate, world-class service to customers.

You will mount, balance, rotate tires, service TPMS, perform oil changes, and help with basic preventative maintenance while upholding safety and shop cleanliness. This role offers an hourly pay model with overtime, paid holidays, benefits, a 401(k), and opportunities to advance into mechanic, advisor, or management tracks.

Qualifications

• Experience mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotating tires.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test and service TPMS sensors.
• Oil changes and filter replacement.
• Document issues after visual inspections.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop safety.
• Collaborate with team for fast, accurate service.
• Progress into light mechanical work as skills grow.

Tire Technicians:

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues
• Test and install batteries
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow
