Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Savannah, GA is hiring Tire Technicians for a fast-paced shop environment. You will interact with customers and drivers from across the country, helping to keep journeys moving and days brighter. No experience?

We’ll train you! Take ownership of tire removal and replacement for commercial vehicles, perform store maintenance, and follow safety procedures. You may work day or night shifts and may need a medical card through the DOT; Love’s funds the DOT card and supports

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with customers and drivers professionally.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness to learn tire procedures and shop routines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire removal and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and varied temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Work a rotating schedule (day and night) as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (DOT) with Love’s funding.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
