Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team in Willard, NY. You will service, remove, and replace tires for commercial and passenger vehicles, both in shop and roadside settings, while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

No prior experience is required as we provide training; you will learn tire tech duties, safety protocols, and proper equipment handling. We offer a fast-paced, team-driven atmosphere with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule including day and night shifts.
• Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for tires on commercial and passenger vehicles in shop or roadside service.
• Perform equipment maintenance and housekeeping to keep the store clean and safe.
• Move and lift heavy objects as needed and work in varied temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure customer and staff safety.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
