Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Illinois is seeking Tire Technicians to join a fast-paced, customer-facing team. You will take ownership of tire removals and replacements for commercial vehicles, interact with drivers, and help keep the shop clean and safe.

No experience is required; we will train you. We offer a rotating day/night schedule and benefits such as paid time off, tuition assistance, health/dental/vision insurance after 30 days, and a strong 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
