Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Rochelle, IL invites you to join our tire service team. As a Tire Technician you will take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles, while delivering friendly service to drivers who rely on us.

No experience? No problem— Love's will train you. You must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in rotating day/night shifts, and follow safety policies. Benefits include tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal and replacement for commercial vehicles.
• Operate and maintain store facility including housekeeping.
• Ability to move 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sell, remove, and replace tires for commercial vehicles.
• Maintain equipment and store cleanliness.
• Lift 75+ pounds; work in different temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love's).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
