Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is seeking a Service Technician to help keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. We provide training for the right person and support career growth in a team-focused environment.

You’ll mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires, inspect for wear, and assist customers with recommendations in a fast-paced shop. Benefits include health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies.
