Job summary

Gills Point S in Billings, MT is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance with training provided. You’ll help keep customers safe on the road while building your skills in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotating and repairing tires; inspecting wear and damage; advising customers on service options; and performing safety checks while operating shop equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies.
