Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to service tires for commercial vehicles in a fast-paced environment. We provide training, and you will interact with customers and drivers to ensure safe, reliable travels.

No experience? No problem—training is provided, and Love’s pays for a DOT medical card when needed. Expect a rotating schedule, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team focused on safety and service.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Commitment to safety policies and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift heavy tires; work in rotating day/night shifts.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to protect customers.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
