Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians in Michigan. You’ll work in a fast-paced shop, interacting with customers and drivers to keep tires safe and services efficient. No experience?

No problem — we will teach you. Expect hands-on training in tire removal, basic repair, and shop safety as you grow with a nationwide team. This role requires lifting 75+ pounds, rotating day and night shifts, and DOT medical card pursuit (Love’s covers the DOT training).

Qualifications

• No experience? We will teach you.
• Ability to move 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (DOT; paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction, following safety policies.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
