Job summary

Padnos is seeking a tire maintenance technician responsible for installing, inspecting and maintaining tires on company equipment. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

You will mount and dismount tires, inspect for flats, transfer tires from storage and document tire histories. The ideal candidate works outdoors, pays attention to detail, delivers reliable customer service, and can supervise temporary workers when needed.

Essential Duties

• Mount and dismount tires.
• Inspect trucks and trailers for flats.
• Transfer tires from storage.
• Removal of scrap tires from axles and transfer to the shredder.
• Record and compile “flats” and “junks” for VP of operations, as well as tire histories, tread depth, mileages, tire evaluations and tires transferred out for reconditioning.
• Requisition tires, rims and parts for repair of tire equipment.
• Supervise temporary workers and assist other mechanics as necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Other duties as required.
