Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment and keep our locations clean with friendly faces. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, helping their travels and their day to be better.

No experience? No problem—We will teach you! This role offers on-the-job training, opportunities for career development, and benefits such as tuition assistance, paid time off, and health insurance after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Repair and maintain store facility equipment and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in close spaces.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Rotate day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess or obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• :Earn $18.50 - $23.00 p/hourTake ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
