Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, serving customers and drivers from all over. We offer training if you have no experience and encourage growth within a winning team.

You will perform tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles, maintain the shop, and adhere to safety policies while lifting up to 75 pounds. Rotation of day/night shifts is required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Willingness to learn tire service and safety procedures.
• Capable of lifting 75+ pounds and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sale, removal and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping.
• Move and lift objects up to 75+ pounds in various temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating schedule including days and nights; obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
