Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians in Alabama for a fast-paced service role. You will assist with tire sales, mounting, and roadside service, and help keep the shop and customer areas clean and safe. Training is provided if you have no prior experience.

The job requires physical ability to lift 75+ pounds and to work rotating day and night shifts. We offer growth opportunities, tuition assistance, PTO, healthcare after 30 days, and a 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.

• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per policies.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
