Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Tire Technicians to join our team in El Paso. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers and drivers with tire sales, removal and replacement for various vehicles.

We provide on-the-job training, and you will help maintain a clean, safe shop while supporting repairs and routine maintenance. Roles involve lifting up to 75 pounds, working in different temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal and replacement for customers, including commercial vehicles.
• Perform equipment repair and general housekeeping of the store facility.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Assist customers and drivers to ensure safe and efficient service.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
