Job summary

RNR Tire Express is seeking a Shop Technician to oversee tire and wheel installations in our Alexandria, LA shop. You will ensure accurate paperwork, maintain inventory, and keep tools and equipment ready for service.

The role requires tire industry knowledge, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift and work in a loud garage environment. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge and repair skills relevant to tires, wheels, and balancing.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions precisely.
• Physical ability to perform tire mounting and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Master torque and retorque procedures per vehicle.
• Places product and supply orders.
• Check-in delivered merchandise.
• Mount, balance & install tires & wheels.
• Use of tire and balancing machines.
• Labels merchandise with item numbers.
• Organizes delivered merchandise according to customer orders.
• Handles "Return to Vendor" merchandise when necessary.
• Identifies and properly tags turned-in products.
• Cleans and maintains turned-in products.
• Maintains and organizes system of storing used tires.
• Controls parts spending.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
