Job summary

RNR Tire Express is hiring a Shop Technician to oversee the installation shop. You will ensure paperwork for installs and removals is complete, maintain inventory, and ensure the right tools are available for tire and wheel work.

Your duties include mounting, balancing, and installing tires and wheels, using balancing machines, tagging items, and organizing merchandise. Customer service and safety are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive service procedures and tire/wheel installations.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and manuals.
• Basic counting skills and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all activity in the installation shop.
• Ensure paperwork for installs/removals is complete and accurate.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper tools are available.
• Mount, balance, and install tires and wheels.
• Operate tire balancing machines and related equipment.
• Label and organize merchandise and returns.
• Provide excellent customer service and safety compliance.
