Job summary

Big O Tires Store - Shawnee, Shawnee, KS, is seeking a friendly Sales Advisor to provide outstanding customer service and drive tire sales at our Shawnee location. You’ll educate customers, handle transactions, and maintain store appearance.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including change.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after hours as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements with customers and management.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits, implementing promotions, and using upselling techniques.
• Prepare sales documentation such as warranties and service agreements.
• Conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions and report discrepancies.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks and inventory.
• Keep facilities clean and stock shelves to Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles as required and assist training of new employees.
